I would guess that most of the areas targeted by other Nuclear powers (China, Russia, Pakistan, NK, Iran) would be in "the Blue States," right?

So why are we worried? Heck, we're practically on their side!

 

Wait, on second-thought, let me move to Nevada first.

 

Actually a lot of our missile and air bases are in the fly-over country, Kansas, Nebraska, Montana, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and for that matter Nevada would all be likely first strike targets.

Any foreign nuclear power has to have disabling our nuclear retaliation capability as a first priority, and frankly, given our vast arsenal, its really unlikely that any other nuclear capable country would be willing to try.

Now, some whacked extremists (like Dick Cheney) would probably be glad to see us blue states wiped off the map, again- it comes down to whose agenda is being served.

 

Isn't this the exact opposite of the truth. Don't they hate the christian fundamentalists? That would mean the Bible Belt and all the red states.

 

I'd suggest that the Bible Belt doesn't represent the MTV and Hollywood culture that they think defines America.
