Why do the TV news call Mohammed "the prophet?" They don't call Christ "The Savior"

Why do the TV news call Mohammed "the prophet?" They don't call Christ "The Savior"
So I'm watching some mainstream news channel and they keep referring to Mohammed as "the prophet mohammed" like they somehow are getting behind the Islamic belief. I've never hear them call Jesus "the savior," or "Christ our lord," etc, and they always "seem to" try to detach themselves from supporting any religion. So what gives?
Just wondering if they are being influenced or given PC lessons regarding the Islamic faith.

I think it's a matter of running scared. Even the media knows better than to coax the savages that lie directly under the surface of Islam. Except for Newsweek and the Danish...
