Osama Probably Alive, in Pakistan, Top Officials Say

In other news, Osama Bin Laden moves from Pakistan after reading latest story...

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...ity_alqaeda_dc

KABUL (Reuters) - Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) and other senior al Qaeda leaders are most likely hiding in Pakistan, the U.S. commander of 18,000 foreign troops hunting militants in Afghanistan (news - web sites) said on Monday

"We see relatively little evidence of senior al Qaeda personality figures being here (in Afghanistan) because they can feel more protected by their foreign fighters in remote areas inside Pakistan," he said in a heavily fortified U.S. military compound in Kabul.

Dozens of al Qaeda-linked militants have been captured or killed in Pakistan in recent months. Amjad Hussain Farooqi, wanted for failed assassination attempts on Musharraf, was killed by security forces on Sunday.

Doesn't OBL have kidney issues that require constant medical attention?
Maybe he has a personnal dialysis machine?

That's the rumor.

It's also been rumor that some of al qaida's cells have had access to medical supplies but who knows...

Some have also suggested that hes been dead for 3 years and its all just a PR ploy to suggest he's alive so we can keep the war on terror on full boil

Although his death may be factual, it's not a very good premise to keep the WOT at "full boil."

I have to agree with you on that Salty.

I'll add that I never thought that "they might have weapons of mass destruction development programs" was a good justification for invading Iraq either.

But it was good enough for bushcheney inc. and we've spent how many hundreds of billions of dollars and how many soldiers so far?

I know the stated KIA figure is pushing 1100, but is it true that if they don't have a body they are technically MIA?

How many MIA's are over there? I never hear anything about them....

And how many WIA's that will never again walk, or hold their child....

Haha, No.

It's just that there's other top al-Qaida terrorists to worry about besides OBL. If we have evidence that he's dead then kudos for us!
