I have a Question....
Will the people that have been constantly bashing Obama and complaining about how horrible his presidency is going to be, admit it if Obama does good things? If he turns out to be a great President?
Or are they so blinded by the spin and hype that the smear machine created during the campaign that they will never be able to admit that he could have/did have success? |
If Obama turns out to be a great President, I will be the first to admit that I was wrong. I just want whats best, which I think is true for most of us. Everything works itself out in the end anyways, so, whatever...time for a nap!

I will happily admit being wrong if he turns out to be a good choice.
But, will you admit that you were wrong if he turns out to be bad? |
Like those who voted for GW

You're obviously not listening. There has been plenty of unfavorable remarks stated about GW. I don't think anyone, except for maybe Helladumb, still rides the Bush band wagon. |

mccain would have had a better chance
I dont think that would have mattered.. he is still BU$H. McCain was beat twice by GW, once in 2000, and again in 2008 |

I voted for Clinton the first time he ran. Couldn't do it the 2nd time around. I voted for Bush the first time he ran. Couldn't do it the 2nd time around. I'm slow...not stupid. |
bush was screwed his first term his agenda was thrown out the window after 9/11
he screwed the second term himself |
bush was screwed his first term his agenda was thrown out the window after 9/11
he screwed the second term himself
the funny part is I am not too sure that he had an agenda for the 1st term. as for the 2nd term, all he did was sell himself to people in the house and senate to secure votes for the Iraq war. As long as people promised to vote for the budgets and resolutions, he would give up anything they wanted. pretty much why our debt is for **** and we have the largest and most bloated government ever right now. |

But, will you admit that you were wrong if he turns out to be bad?
Most definitely I will. I guess though it would have to be with some perspective, because some things that I think make a good president may not fall into line with what you think does. All within reason......The same goes for the other side. I don't expect them to agree with everything obviously or support everything he does but if the majority thinks he does good I would expect the detractors admit it, just like if he turns out bad, I would expect the supporters (me included) to admit it. |
