Koni yellows?

Has anyone tried the Koni yellow sport adjustable shocks. I have an 09 2.5 and was thinking about upgrading to these since the stocks are starting to leak. Any feed back or recommendations for New shocks would be great

Haven't tried them on a Subie, but had them on my previous car and they were excellent for a street driven car.

I have Koni Yellows on my '12 WRX, with RCE Blacks and 2010 WRX donor struts.

I haven't played around with the damping settings yet, so I can only comment on the limited miles I've put on the entire spring-shock-strut setup - which is definitely firmer than stock WRX setup. All our car's rattles will be more noticeable when driving on crappy roads like downtown SF. On curvy roads, body roll is definitely reduced, and the transition from left turn to right turn feels better (more stable/less bounce?) than stock. Front-end "dive" when shifting or letting off the gas also seems to be reduced.

In case you don't already know, the fronts are not direct bolt-ons (at least not for my WRX), and some work needs to be done. I don't have the skills or tools for that job, so I ended up paying a shop to do the install for me.

Awesome shocks. been running those for over 5 years now. For a street car they are amazing.

How much did the shop charge?

A little bit of a pain to install into stock strut bodies, but well worth it. I really like my konis

Yeah I like the ride height on my h&r springs not a huge drop but still definitely noticeable

Is there a DIY step-by-step install on the front end for the Yellows? Ive been interested in these for a while now.

After seeing that, there's NO WAY I would do it or drive around on a setup like that.
