What do I do with old rotors?

Just wondering what I do with old rotors. Do I throw them away? Throw them in the Recycle bin? Take them down to the local recycle center?

I give them to a friend at a machine shop to put in thier metal recycle bin.

I generally through them out, but you could recycle by giving it to a scrap yard/guy or shop
