STI throttle tip-in torque steer?

Hey gang,

I have been breaking in my new STI and noticed an odd situation last night. At 60-70mph or so in 5th or 6th gear I notice a sort of torque steer when I get on and off the gas pedal. This is very evident if your going through turns when you lift and tip in the throttle again. Now, revs are between 3 and 4k and I am not driving the car hard at all but its odd when your driving into a corner at 65mph and lift the throttle at the apex and the rear seems to scoot out just alittle. Tires are 36/32 and I will try again today along the same stretch with different pressures.

DCCD was in auto mode at the time. I tried dialing down in steps to the 35/65 ratio and it did seem to make a positive difference. In other words there was less of that tail out feeling when you lifted the throttle mid corner.

Is this normal center diff action?

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks,

I tried to search for the topic. Do you have the link? or what search terms to use? What was the general idea of the cause? Is it the center diff?
