Squishy brake pedal??

I bought my WRX used and have noticed that since I bought it the brake pedal seems soft the first pump and then firms up on the next pumps. The fluid level looks ok. Do you think they need to be bled or is this normal for Subaru brakes??

It's basically normal, if the fluid is ok. Adding $100 braided stainless steel lines will firm it up though.

I think there is air. I'd bleed the brakes.

There is air in the system. Flush + bleed the brakes every year.
1st to keep the fluid clean + 2nd to rid any moisture.
(Brake fluid is Hygroscopic, it absorbs moisture)
If your not confident to do this, especially with ABS, I would recommend getting a brake tech to do it.
