Kartboy rear endlinks height question
Hi all,
This question is regarding the upgrade of enlinks on my '06 WRX. During research of all the products out there, I came upon a statement in a product description for Kartboy solid rear endlinks on one of the vendor web-sites that raised some questions... It said that..."the overall height of the links is reduced from the stock item in order to allow additional clearance to the fuel filler neck." (http://www.renickmotorsports.com/oscommerce/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=676_726_733&products_id=659) I already have TEIN coilovers and the car is lowered about an inch, so my concerns were...Is the reduced endlink height will lower my car even further? Am I going to need to readjust the height of my car and/or worry about any rubbing or alignment issues? I have not yet seen such statements for other endlink products, so I do not know if it is something unique to Kartboy or this is a common among all of the products. I am assuming that is why Kartboy refers to them on their web-site as drop-links. Just in case, below is a complete listing of all my suspension modifications... - TEIN Super Street Damper Coil Overs - STi Heavy Duty "Group N" Front/Rear Strut Top Mounts - Greddy Front Strut Tower Brace - STi Rear Strut Tower Brace - Cusco 22mm Front Sway Bar, Unadjustable - Cusco 22mm Rear Sway Bay, 3-Way Adjustable - 17x8 Raze Wheels R74 PS. I did do a forum search before posting, but was unable to find any threads regarding this specific issue. My apologies if I did miss any posts that exist regarding this topic. Thank you. |
