Info on Tein Basic

Any body have any results with these coilovers yet? I was thinking about buying these for my wagon since Tein has wagon specific Basics. The spring rates for these coilovers are 280ft/lbs front and back, so they are different than the Tein wagons.

i heard the basics and the wagons are pretty much the same thing.
not entirely sure though.

The spring rates for the Tein wagon's are 280 front/ 168 rear, and the spring rates for the Tein basic are 280 front/ 280 rear. So they are a little different.

that seems like a huge amount of difference for the rear... is it because of the location of the extra weight(so far above the strut mounts?) or what?

i am also trying to get enough money to get some basics over the summer(college is expensive) and would like to hear anyone's experiences with sedan basics.

i have an RS but it's a 2003 so i am 99% positive the GD basics will go right in with no problem.
