2004 Wagon Strut / Suspension Help

Hi everybody - my first post!

I have a 2004 wagon and it seems impossible to find suspension parts for it!!!

The car is lowered 1.2" with an Eibach prokit spring set and I love it along with a thicker swaybar. It is time to replace the struts and there seems to be nothing readily available. I see a lot for '03 and before but not my peanut. I am not looking to break the bank but I know that there are some better products out there then OEM.

I have been looking into KYB's because they seems like a good budget (important) product and solid product. and I can get by with a $300-400 purchase before install. I have read some other posts but I am unfamiliar with what models I need to purchase - GC8? GBwhatever? Can anybody give guidance on exactly what I am supposed to purchase?

Any other suggestions that won't break the bank or be too sporty? - it is bumpy already and my lady won't roll with me until I get it fixed and smooth it out a bit.

Thank you in advance!

Koni yellow inserts all the way. They are easier to do than they seem.

KYB for stupid idiotic reason does not make wagon specific struts. Stupid. Stupid Stupid.

Many people say to buy WRX front and GC8 rears. Do not do it unless you have camber plates. You will have ZERO adjustment on your front camber and it sucks. Even with a camber bolt the most you can get is around -1.3.

So if you have camber plates then KYB's are fine.

To me the only real option is Koni Yellow inserts. They're more expensive but well worth it on the performance side of things as well as having stock adjustability on your camber settings.... where adding a camber bolt would get you higher than you'd need to go for the street.

Save up a little longer and buy the yellows.

Or you can buy my KYB's and I'll buy some yellows. haaaa.

that is pretty compelling arguement! Yellow it is... Thank you!
