Available for most Japanese and domestic models, PosiQuiet Semi-Metallic pads offer bite levels similar to or greater than OEM formulas with reduced levels of noise and dust. Well suited to performance street driving under all weather conditions.

StopTech PosiQuiet Brake Pads are manufactured using the same positive molding process utilized by Original Equipment suppliers. Positive molding uses extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate. This process assures consistent friction material density throughout the pad, resulting in even wear and performance characteristics throughout the life of the brake pad. StopTech PosiQuiet Brake Pads features either precision cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims. These small details ensure proper fitment in the caliper and virtually eliminate noise associated with pad vibration. In addition to these features StopTech has added a scorching process to all of its PosiQuiet Brake Pads. This scorching process forces any impurities out of the friction material and pre-burnishes the pads to greatly accelerate the break-in process. Scorching raises initial cold effectiveness, stabilizes friction levels right out of the box, provides consistent performance across the entire operating range.

StopTech stainless steel brake lines improve pedal feel and reduce the amount of time between applied pedal pressure and actual deceleration by preventing expansion, which stock rubber flex lines allow. This provides a quicker pedal response, and allows the driver to maintain consistent brake pressure and precision brake modulation.

StopTech brake lines consist of a Teflon inner line that is covered with a layer of stainless steel woven braid. The Teflon tube is very resistant to expansion under pressure and will not degrade from exposure to brake fluid. At the end of the day, you can only get so much braking performance out of your brakes before the rotors and calipers are just not able to keep up. This is where the StopTech 332mm 4 piston big brake kit steps in.

This model specific kit is designed to work with the OEM rear calipers, allowing for the brake balance to stay proper while increasing overall braking performance in every aspect. Initially the biggest noticeable difference is felt in the pedal feedback, with shorter travel and firmer feel while stopping the car much faster with the same amount of pressure. The other aspect that will be noticed by track drivers is that the brakes are able to hold allot more heat allowing for much more constant lap times over and over. This is achieved by using a larger then OEM brake pad, matched up to a larger rotor that is able to hold more heat and also get rid of it much faster do to the taller and also thicker design.
