What will happen to the prices of used STi's?
 

I was curious, with the release of a restyled WRX and WRX STi comming soon, will that hit the used car prices of the 04 and 05's? I am going to be getting one next spring, try to find one with really low low miles and I was wondering what to expect in a price drop because of the new ones, I would assume plenty that have the current STi would be flocking to trade theres in for the newest and greatest thing. Thanks for the input

I bet that 04 and 05 STi's will take a beating. Especially if that Kia imitation makes it to the states. :D

The new body style of the 04/05s hasn't hurt the resale value of the 03s...

with only 9,000 units produced for the US, thats for 04/05 -
the value will drop- but subarus in general are very strong.
i have my opinions on the restyled STi, and i emphasize on restyled... the US spec came out in 2002- - expect the total redesign to be out in 2007. . . but thats my personal opinion mixed with experience with working for Subaru
