fogged headlight.

one of the headlights is fogged up. not my scooby. other car.
anyone know how to deal with this? darn condensation. thanks

I have Taurus that did this. Just drill two small (like 1/16) joles in opposite corners of the bottom of the light.This will allow air to circulate and whoala no more condensation!

anyone know why this happens in the first place? why would there be soo much air in the headlight in the first place?

I've heard that some lights have vent tubes that can become pluged over time. I assume the reason for venting is that since lights are no longer sealed beam, the bulb heat expands and contracts the air volume and it needs a vent to contrtol where the headlight will 'leak'. By controling the path I assume you limit the amount of water being sucked in during the cooling cycle.
