30k service in Marin?
 

Hello everyone,

I recently moved up to San Rafael from Texas this summer. My MY04 WRX just tripped 30k and I'm wondering about the 30k service. Subaru of Marin quoted me $595 for the service, which seems awful high. Can anyone recommend any other places nearby that might offer a better deal?

I'm really looking for any advice short of "do it yourself", as I have neither the knowledge or the equipment. Thanks!

$595 is pretty typical for the dealer 30K. The 60K can be upwards of $650.

$595 sounds very high to me, definitely search around before you commit to that. I actually have my '02 WRX in for it's 30K service right now at Subaru of Dallas, their list price is $399.99 for the 30K. And the service dept. at SoD is very cool, getting a discount for being a Nasioc or I-Club member is very common. You should have stayed in Texas. :o) j/k
