why cant my home cpu find the site??

Hey guys,
I have been visiting form my home cpu for some time and then all of a sudden it can no longer find the site!!
I can access the site from my work cpu but not from home!
when ever I try to type in the site address in the address bar a surch engine pops up with an I-club link. correct address, correct discription. so I click on the link and after a wile of thinking my computer pops up with a white screen with the 'no can find' stuff ????

Check your home PC for spyware. Use either Ad-Aware or Spybot Search & Destroy. If they don't find anything, come back.

Yeah, +1 on that. I have Spybot and works great.

This doesn't have anything to do with the subject at hand, but if you like music and have "Bear Share" to DL music with, then you most definitely have Spyware.

yes im sure of it.
jackass

I updated and ran;
spy bot
norton
and symantic (sp?)
fixed what ever errors they came up with and still no good.
I even tried adding the site to my trusted list and that did not help.

I do not play around with file sharing.
I only get music from I-tunes
and the only porn site I go to is the same one I have been going to for the last 3 years.

Hey man, WTF's up with calling names? You asked for help and the man offered a suggestion.

You mentioned that the screen just shows up as being "blank" or "white." Just a friendly hint of advice, but you may want to try using a sock or a towel instead of flinging your spooge all over the monitor.

Enjoy your porn.

try approving i-club in your popup blockers and such.
what browser are you using?

Wingless Wonder 02-28-2006 08:55 PM

I'm not aware of any changes that might affect connecting with i-Club. I use Firefox with pop-ups blocked by default and it has always worked for me. Just to verify, I also opened this thread in Internet Explorer (under Win XP).

If I can think of anything else to try, I'll post it.

If you were sinsear I appreciate it and appologies.
im just so used to people busting my balls about spelling that I get a bit defensive.
I also did mention in my post that a surch engine pops up and there is a link to the site with the correct discription of it and when I click on it I get the 'no can find' screen.
so you can see where I would assume that your just trying to be a jackass.

Calm down, dude. He was just trying to help. I'm sure he meant nothing by his comment, and you're thinking things that never happened.
