I've done several searches on this, but have had little success. If answers to my qustions are covered in another thread, I'd very much appreciate links to them.

Anyway, the situation is like this:

I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunity of purchasing an S203 for the same price as the an Sti. Obviously, I took the opportunity.

Turns out that it's not quite as quick as my EvoVIII (with fairly extensive mods). I am thinking of getting a Turbo-back system and/or induction kit for it. It seems to me that the S203 is a GDB type E. So my questions are:

1.)What's the difference between the exhaust systems between types D and E? Fujitsubo seems to do different part numbers for the two, and there's even another one for the type F.

2.)You don't NEED a catalytic converter as such where I live. Does anyone manufacture cat-less downpipes with diameters matching stock? I would like to get rid of the cat, but keep the Sti end muffler.

3.)How similar are the types F and E? Why on earth did they make the E anyway? Seems like they only built them for about 7 months?
