With pure fuel you get better gas mileage, plus less wear and tear on your engine.
If that is the case I would expect you to understand how octane works and the potential benefits of ethanol in a FI car. Not to mention the fact that the gas that you want to switch from is what these cars are tuned for from the factory.

I'm still learning octane but e20 the highest from of ethanol fuel which is 20% lowers your fuel economy by 7.7% e85 which is 15% lowers it by 5% etc..... You get the picture. Although its required by law and burns cleaner, you can still use it however if someone dips your tank you ill be fined.

I created this thread in the hopes to find someone running ethanol free gas in their cars, but all I'm getting is people responding that aren't running it. I'm just interested to see how much of a drop in hp, fuel economy, etc... I don't plan to race it or do a lot of engine work. all I want is to prolong the life of the engine.

prolong the life of the engine? why and how do you ever plan to enjoy your newly acquired vehicle? I'm not saying you should go redline it every time but go out and enjoy what the car was made for.

trying to preserve the car is like trying to preserve yourself. you'll need to live in a bubble in order to not be susceptible to the outside contaminants

There is no secret to making the car last a long time: do ALL the required maintenance when it is due and fix things properly (using OEM or better parts) when they wear out/break. Simple as that.

Lol true. I'm not saying I'm driving like my grandmother. Just because I want to do things to prolong the life doesn't mean I have to live in a bubble I'm just trying to prevent some wear and tear on my parts.

This is a given which I have done on all my vehicles. Like I said before this was just a general question I asked to see if anyone has or is currently running ethanol free gas.
