I always hear "Rex" for a WRX but to most Japanese, its still good ol' "Impreza WRX". If you have a WRX STi, and you refer to it as "The STi", it can't really be mistaken by others as to what car you are talking about.

Good little K-cars. Hold together real well. Friend of mine had one. Them and the Suzuki Alto Works....fun and lite little cars.
