# of STI in the U.S.

Does anyone have numbers on the amount of STI shipped to the States? It'd be interesting to compare to Rs (pre 02') #'s. (the # of mt Rs seems to be quite small)

initial production for usdm was 4500 in 2004, 2005 was the same. not sure about 2006. i would imagine it's the same. quite impressive for a car manufacturer with a small fraction of the market. Honda's S2000 is limited to 5,000 - and i think honda definitely has a larger share of the automobile market.

the sales of the STi definitely have reached FHI expectations... esp. in 2004.

*i know that there actually more sold here... the numbers posted were the original target numbers- as the year progresses dealers have the option to order more depending on what the distributors are allocated* keep in mind that we have (i believe 3 different distributors- one in SOA, SOH and one on the west coast(i think)- SOH has awesome connections with FHI as i think they ordered quite a bit for us here in hawaii...
