i cant decide which car 2 get, recall on wrx driving gears?

i've never posted here b4 but i'm looking into getting a subaru, i'm trying 2 decide wich model 2 get and right now i'm torn between the legacy outback h6 auto sedan and the wrx 5spd sedan, i found this in a review of the 2002 wrx:

"We also just got a notification in the mail (one year after buying and driving the car) that there is a recall on the driving gears that may cause the brake systems to fail."

could anybody clear this up 4 me and provide any info that might help me 2 make my decision? i'm looking 4 a car that would do well on the icy, snowy mountain roads of colorado and b comfortable and reliable 4 long hwy trips.

it doesnt say anywhere that its a WRX, its also a review of the Automatic 'impreza sport'. It says Impreza Sport? outback sport? or sport wagon? No where does she mention a turbo, and the price 21000, is too low to be a WRX

ok, u may b right, i may have missunderstood the review, but could anyone give me any ideas as to what 2 do about my decision between the 2 cars?

Why not test drive both cars and let us know what your impressions are? I just know that the WRX (I own one) is a sportier (faster) car. I don't know what you are looking for in a Subaru. The Legacy is the car I will buy when I grow up.
