I just put some money down on an incoming 2005 Crystal Grey STi w/gold wheels. Have no idea what it looks like, but if I don't like it over the white, I'll wait for a white one. It should be in, in a week or so. Been wanting this car for a while. Since Gran Turismo in fact.

The dealer had no good information really on the '05's to show me unfortunately. He knew what the changes were, but there were no pictures to show. Outside of the pics on i-club of the '05 STi, I really don't even know much myself.

There was a '04 white STi in the showroom but it was sold, unfortunately. When he said he had 05's coming in a few days I said, "what the heck," write me up for the Crystal Grey one. He also had a silver/silver coming in that was sold in advance as well. I have an idea in my head what the color looks like, but you can never tell until you see it in person. My dealer is Metric Subaru. They are really good. They even do modifications...can't beat that. I was looking at the Cadillac CTS-V, but I can't justify 47k for a car when the STi serves every purpose just as well, and I can take it skiing.

 

judging by where you live and the fact i went to a dealer that had a white sti that was sold, im guessing you went to metric. im ordering a black wrx some time this week so i can get it by the next shipment.
who'd you speak to, and how much were you quoted for?

Pyro...cool deal. Can't wait to see the pics. How close to Denver are you? I was out there for 2 weeks on business. Colorado is an awesome place to live. I have considered moving out there. I had a rental Mazda MP5 and I took into to the mountains for some fun. Your STi should be a blast in the mountains.
