My 2013 Wrx was rear ended in a 7 car pile up

So today while commuting home from work I was rear ended in a 7 car pile up while sitting at a dead stop in traffic. The accident was caused by a bigwig driver with an oversized load. Witnesses said the bigrig swerved from the slow lane across to the carpool lane the started riding the center divider wall then started plowing into cars then drifted back across all 4 lanes finally crashing to a stop at the freeway exit sign. My car was the last car hit & was hit by a new jeep cherokee that was pushed into my poor Wrx.
This is some bull****! I really don't even want it repaired I'd rather have it replaced since the car is only 10 months old. I don't want to have a new car with a major accident on its carfax. But if its totaled out by the insurance how much will they actually pay me? I've paid $15,000 towards the car the car was mint condition with about 9k mileage. I know they will pay off the car & pay me what's left over. I just want to get a replacement Wrx with the same mileage that has a clean carfax.
To make it worst is I am moving to a new place tomorrow talk about ****ty luck!

Really does suck. Heard about the truck hitting the pole and I was thinking to myself how many cars got hit too. At least you're okay.

Do u not have gap insurance they will just give u a new one. But I'd buy it back and fix it and use it as a track car

Ouch, that sucks. Hopefully they total it and you don't lose anything on it.

I found the "optional gap contract" on my lease
It's got my signature that I want to buy a gap contract but the term says NA and mos says NA

Ouch, that is a surprisingly big impact considering you were the last car to get hit

I wouldn't part that and use it as a track car, fixing the frame could be expensive lol
