uhh....01? there are no 01 wrx's made in the US....02 was the first year.

There are people on i-Club outside of the US. also, Hawaii is not part of SOA, they get stuff at the same tiem as the rest of the non-Japanese, non-North American world.

While it is true that Subarus in Hawaii are not distributed by SoA, they still must conform to US regulations on car safety and emissions, much like Alaska and (I believe) Puerto Rico. But yes, there are plenty of people on this board from outside the US.

That's true, I never thoght about it. I wonder why they aren't just lumped into SOA?

No idea. I believe that most cars sold in Hawaii are distributed by the same company regardless of make (I forget the name at the moment), presumably because otherwise various car companies (like SoA) would lose too much money doing their own distributorship and shipping for the islands with so few cars requiring a special route. I'm just guessing, perhaps a resident or Google would have a real answer.
