Stage 2

Stage 2:The Stage 2 kit unlocks the performance hiding in your WRX. TurboXS designed a package with minimal installation time but with huge gains over a stock WRX. You get the two single largest power adders and end up with 59.4 more HP at the wheels. Full boost is reached by 3000 RPM and stays strong all the way to redline! With over 200 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels from 3300 RPM all the way to 5400 RPM. Modifications are still mild but adding a full turbo back exhaust increases the exhaust flow from the turbo to the back of the exhaust. It replaces the stock cats with a high flow cat. Includes 1. Piggy back Utec 2. K&N Air Filter 3. Boost Adjustment Controller 4. Full 3 inch turbo back system Single tip muffler

Thank you in advance. Just wondering if this is a good way to go or do some research and buy separatly. thanks

I'm a big fan of TurboXS's stuff. You could do it in pieces and still use their Stage 2, starting off with either the turbo-back or UTEC Stage 1 by themselves and then adding after that. They also make a nice "stealth-back" (turbo-back that bolts up to the stock muffler, for most of the performance increase, but stock sound so as to not attract attention). You can find info on all their products at http://www.turboxs.com , and http://www.worldoneperformance.com is a good supplier.

If you are using the TurboXS stage 2 engine mapping off the website, it runs a little rich. Granted this isn't necessarily a bad thing...

You may want to take it to a tuning shop to tweak it some or do it yourself if you got a decent idea of what you are doing and aren't afraid to blow up the car. :)

depending where you're located and what kind of gas you run in your car I would consider it.

If you're near an AWD dyno it will help you alot when tuning the utec. I have the stage 2 plus a few extras in my car now and I'm very happy with it. I'm also tinkering with it almost every day applying my own bass ackwards tuning theory. The UTEC in my opinon is not plug and play and be done with it. It is instead an easy place to start and get some awsome results for your money. Try the stage 1 if you're on 93 octane... you may find it's enough. Once you have the stage two you'll be looking for injectors and fuel pump so you can turn the boost up... and then you'll be shopping for that turbo and intercooler so you can really crank some ponies. It's a vissious cycle. But a fun one.

The Vishnu stage 2 is fast and a good value though and I would have to really consider it if I was going to do it all over again.

2 cents,

Ash
