impreza 2.5 rs(00-01') or bmw e30 m3(88-91)
I've been looking for a car to replace my ranger, and I seem to be stuck between these 2. The 2.5 rs or a e 30. I was wondering your guys opinions on my situation. I know the bmw will keep its value because its a collector's car and only 5,000 were made each year. The problem with the m3 is all the milleage. Im kind of iffy about spending all this money on a car with 143,000 miles more or less. When I can spend the same amount on a newer car with 50,000 miles(impreza). I love both these cars. I've test drove the impreza a few times but I haven't had the oppurtunity to test drive the m3. I love the way they both look and there performance specs. Impreza AWD, BMW rear wheel. But im stuck and I want to hear your guys opinion.
Thanks
Thanks

An older M3 like that is more of a "weekend" car than a pratical car for constant use. Great car, but the RS would be newer like you say and probably more useful for you. I think what you should do is find an RS then if you can afford another spare car later in your life find one of those M3's

I gotta second Kostamojen's response. The RS is a wonderful 'only car' and the M3 would be a killer weekender. Personally I'd base my choice solely on that. Also, the E30 doesn't have a lot of guts. It handles incredibly well, but the motor won't knock your socks off.

Get the RS and skip the BMW. Like they said buying replacement or aftermarket parts for the BMW will be worse then buying them for the Subaru and in stock trim the BMW really is nothing to brag about. Especially if its going to be your daily driver.

Be wary of the E30 M3. The E30 M3 is pretty rare and parts are going to be $$$ when things start to break.
