I have less than 1/3 the mileage you have.

 

I'll just put it this way- if my averages hold, I should be due for another one in about 45,000 miles (you can search the archives here for the sordid history...)

 

At least you're getting them to last 45k. The only one I've gotten that out of was the factory installed one.

2006 sti 133,000

 

02 wagon, purchased new in 2002.
Ran a Cobb stage 2 since about 50k.
Turbo died around 120k.
Motor died at 179k, and now has over 202,000 miles since rebuild.
FW MOTORSPORTS built Stroker, mellow tune, daily driver. Actually it's my wife's car. 2.2 heads, getting daily driven into the ground. And she never takes the time to warm it up properly before pushing it.
We shall see
