HI from UK

Hi everyone,

My name is Justin from Wales UK and I currently own 4 Subaru's. I have three early Legacy's and I intend to transform one of them into a Colin McRae Rothmans Lookalike. I also own a UK Series McRae Edition Impreza GC8 classic shape. I have been lucky enough to get the dashboard signed by the following people:

Jimmy McRae
Alister McRae
Alison McRae
Hollie McRae
Ken Block

I also organised an event in the UK to raise money for the charity that was set up after Colin McRae passed away. This was simply for the Subaru community and was over two days. First day was a 150mile tour around the scenic area of North Wales UK. A total of 120 Subaru's took part in this convoy.
The second day was a static car show where we had displays from various clubs in the UK along with traders etc. We also held an auction with some very rare items. All were signed by famous drivers including Ari Vatanen, David Richards, Ken Block, Alister and Jimmy McRae and Phil Mills. We had many items donated from Ken Block and the Monster World Rally team. The event was awesome and we all managed to raise over £6k for the charity.

I have just posted a FOR SALE in the car section as a good mate of mine is selling his very special 22B Impreza. One of the 3 prototypes and was owned by Nicky Grist, Colin McRae's codriver. It is one car not to miss out on. Only three of these cars were produced.

All the best from UK

Justin H

Many thanks for the welcome. I started off with Classic Fords but then there was an event in the UK the year after Colin McRae died and it involved having a Subaru. At the time I didnt have one so I bought one from the Autotrader for the small amount of £200! It was an old Legacy and had enough road tax and MOT for the event. Since that first purchase I ended up buying others! Then I got to know the McRae family and ended up organising a two day event!

I still have a couple of Classic Fords, I currently have a Mk1 and Mk2 Escort van. I only wish I had more space!

Shall I post some pictures up on here of my cars or a different section?
Regards
Justin
