Question Was "flex" fixed with '04 tranny?

I wanted to know if the case-flex issue found in the five speed transmission was fixed for the '04 five spd. I know the six spd is very strong but did the five spd case stay the same?
If it was fixed, will it fit a '01 RS?

No.

04 5MT uses the same case the 03, 02, 01 and any other WRX.

Hense, the flex is still there.

6MT!!!!!!!!!!

This is very upsetting. I was hoping I could just swap trannies then be done with it.
OK, another question.
Does anyone make any kind of brace to reinforce the 5 spd?
