Finally Clutch Is Getting Fixed!

i just went to Matthews in Vestal, NY(next to Binghamton) and they drove my car, couldn't find a problem BUT are still ordering the parts. next friday, NEW CLUTCH!! No more shuddering clutch!

I would recommend if any of you have parents that would be willing to take the car in. have them do it. i went to a place in syracuse and they wouldn't fix it and gave me a huge run around even after i called SOA. then i let my dad take it in to the dealer in Vestal, and BAM NO PROBLEMS!!! NEW CLUTCH! finally!!

ohh, also. whats the deal with breaking in a new clutch? details please. thanks

no sidesteppin' on hardcore launches! lol.

as a matter of fact, no hardcore launches for a while. when you do hardcore launches, bits of metal break free and roam around, so i'd suggest taking it easy on the clutch at first.

My car is being driven by the service manager this tuesday! I hope he gets the same shudder I get every day, then I'll be in the same boat as you. As for break in, just take it easy on the new clutch. It doesn't take long to break in a new clutch, but it will last a lot longer if you let it learn its role in life nice and slow.

My fuel gauge won't go to empty anymore... so I am talking that into be fixed, I guess I'll get rid of my shudder too... which I always atturbited to me not being able to drive clutch well enough.

just take it easy on ur clutch for the first 500 miles.
dont go over 4k
i rarely go over 3k city driving.
also...the clutch is nice. its engages a lot stronger than before. i had it done on mine.

before u take it in
do some launches!
