Does a post count REALLY matter?

i see about 3 threads on just the first page of general alone. ill admit, when i first joined iclub, post count was cool, and u really wanted that uber cool title. but then post count was deleted, postwhoring went down, and everyone lived happily ever after.

personally, i think not having a post count is a good thing. gives people less of a reason to waste space/bandwith.

I agree it's quality not quantity as far as I'm concerned.

There are so many boards and posts to read now, it's hard to keep up. Myself I read for info and to see if I can contribute in a positive way. If I can't then I don't post.

either way posts counts dont matter, the group as a whole will always be able to pick out the knowledgeable.
