I had the same dilemma before buying my new '03 WRX (@2 weeks ago). The actual performance specs look quite similar, if not the same. It seems the only thing that changed is the body style-which is why I went with the '03 over the '04. IMO, it looks like they took all of the aggresive look out of the car and made everything dainty (for lack of a better word)....

Yeah according to the info, the 04 Wrx will have a optional sunroof as well as an available "cold weather" package (heated mirror's, seats and wipers) Would be nice if the added a heated steering wheel to the cold weather package!.....keep those fingers toasty when it's -10 below zero!...hehe

I think they should change that damn antenna! I understand that most of the $25K for the WRX is for performance and very little of it is for luxury, but they should not have an antenna in which you have to raise and lower yourself. Manual antenna is for Honda Civics. :-(

Someone correct me if Im wrong, but I believe the MY04 has the antenna, "glass intergrated"
And while I agree the commercials on the radio get tiresome, I personaly can't see Paying to listen to music in my car, especialy if you have a CD/Tape deck (majority of car's these days), and not just an AM/FM radio.

In all of the picture I have seen of the 04 there is no antena! It's not where it is now, and it's not in any other logical place, so it must be in the glass! I am having the same dilema, and I am waiting for the pricing to come out on the 04 to make my decision. If they cost the same (base) I will get the 04 with the new seats, lights, no antenna, dash, sunroof, and winter package. If it cost more I will get an 03. This is driving me nuts though as I had an 02 and it was totalled back in December, and I now have the ins. $$ to buy my new car, but I am waititng to see when I can get an 04 and how much it will cost.

Yeah, I am waiting for the '04 as well. I personally prefer the rally-inspired look of the "bug-eye" headlights, but for '04 it gets new seats, moonroof, integrated antenna, and heated mirrors and wipers...I just cannot pass those features up !

Funny this should be mentioned...
A couple days ago, I was driving mom's LS400 around while my car was still in the shop. I figured I'd run it through one of those automatic car washes after pumpin' some gas. Had some dust/pollen on it, so why not. Never did it cross my mind that her car has a power antenna, as opposed to the always-pulled-out antenna on my truck.
Washed car: 1
broken antenna/motor: 1
the part is like $400 too. I should just forego doing favors in the future I guess
