nubie here
just got an 04 2.0 wrx .doing 75 on the 528 , the motor take's a dump . got it home checked the timing belt .... all is good there , went to check the compression and found low compression in all the cylinders . called the dealer and they have lot's of short block's on the shelf . is there a problem with these motor's ?the timing belt was done about ten thousand miles ago. car has about 90,000.00 mile's on it .
and help would be appreciated.
