Sti: NO RADIO

I installed a (new) radio into my Sti. And the tuner channels go in and out like there is no Ant. Before I installed the the radio, my Dealers Subaru Mechanic told where the ant. was hidding down in the harness. Any thought?

uh... so your saying you plugged the ant. in and your still getting bad reception or you didnt install the ant at all?

there shold be a antenne plug to plug in the factory deck, but i dont get really good reception, but mines doesnt go in and out of radio stations

um, if you bought a harness from metra, there is a blue/white wire iirc that says power antenna, you need to get power to that wire in order for the antenna in the rear window to be powered, that would be the cause of your inability to get any reception.

This question actually belongs in the car audio and security forum, do a search there for sti antenna and you should come up with a more detailed answer than the one i gave ya.
