Question gauge options on STi

Just wanted to ask if anyone purchased a 04' STi with either the single steering column boost gauge by LAMCO or the performance gauge pack also by LAMCO with boost pressure, voltage, and oil temp???

1. ? Are the LAMCO gauges good quality or trash ?

2. ? worth purchasing ?

For the money you're paying for the gauge pack, i think i'm right in saying that a lot of people here would tell you to go aftermarket. I dunno off the top of my head now, but how much is the factory setup? MPJ performance is selling the Defi BF series gauges, which illuminate red and is blacked out just like the STi gauge cluster (if i remember correctly Defi makes the STi gauges) for $800 complete with the control unit, boost, egt, and oil pressure.

I am saving up for this package myself, because i honestly don't know what i would do with a voltage gauge

If you dont wanna spend gobbs of money on gauges, autometer has some sweet gauges for the buck. I have a boost gauge mounted in a gauge cup on the a-pillar. Looks alot differeent than the a pillar clusters. Gauge, pod, and installation for under $200. I also have a car full load of them in my Grand National and have had zero problems with them. They have been in the car since 01.
