Do I do it?
So a dealer I've been working with called and emailed me to let me know that a Black STi w/ silver rims is sitting on his lot waiting for me.
The Price: $29456 ($300 over invoice)
The Options: Stock STi w/ Wheel locks
(I'd probably get the security system added in since I don't want my ride getting stolen.)
Now do I do it? I'm still trying to figure out if I'm ready to be paying $368 to $397/mo in car payments (I'm putting $8500 to $10k down on the car.)
Only thing that has been holding me back is a few grand of that downpayment is $ that is owed to me by a family member, and getting family members to pay you back is tough.
Now I know it's impossible to decide since you aren't in my situation, yada yada yada, what I guess I'm looking for is words of encouragement to make me call up the dealer and say "sure I'm ready to sign my life away!"

Yea it's a damn good price. I want it soooooooo bad
Time to bug the family member who owes me $ to pay up... the dealer said they can take a check and hold it (not deposit it) until I'm more "liquid" but I still feel a little shady doing that...
Oh well hopefully this weekend I'll have a new car to break in....

Great deal I would take it you hardly ever get to choose your car these days. people usually just take what color is on the lot. looks like this is the car you asked for and the price is great.

GO FOR IT!! I agree though that aftermarket alarm is the way to go. You're going to be at the electronics store anyway getting a stereo so toss in a good DEI alarm while your at it.
