I got the monster power unit that charges the battery also and mounted it next to the stick shift in my wrx. I mounted my ipod mini next to the left of my deck. I get perfect clarity signal with wire management. Great unit, worth the 70 bucks

Works perfect. I just need to figure out where to mount the iPod.

Ipod Mini lame????

Currently have 411 songs saved on mine with 1 gig left.

How many songs can you possibly listen to before the battery goes out????
4 gig is plenty, then again I have a Mac computer so life is great....

On the FM modulators....

The tend to have issues when the Ipod's volume is up too high. Leave the Ipod's volume at 50%-75% and you should have clear reception. Mine is set to 88.1FM and I don't have any complaints (just find an FM station that you get nothing or close to nothing on)

The thing about FM modulators (just like everthing else) is you get what you pay for. THe cheap one have all sorts of noise problems, engine noise, poor radio reception etc...

This is a Clarion FM200s - this is another good quality piece.

There are a few new IPOD adaptors coming out that adapt to the changer port on the factory radio (if i has one).
