help!!! DVD changer

I just installed my DVD changer, it sounds like it's getting power, and when I put in a DVD, it makes sounds (the mechanism) and you can actually hear the DVD get inserted into the player part and start spinning. Knowing this, I think that it is safe to say that the changer is getting power. It is hooked (for its power) into an fm modulator, which has a yellow (+12v DC), a red (+12v acc), and a black (ground) wire coming out of it which are tapped into the wiring for my aftermarket in-dash screen. Also, another wire that is tapped into the aftermarket in-dash wiring is the parking brake wire (comes directly from the changer, and tapped into the ground current of the in-dash monitor wiring).

The power for the unit is taken care of, and when I put a DVD into the unit, I can hear the unit working. Now for the signal out of the DVD changer, there is a video cable and rca cables (a/v cord) that hook from the DVD changer into the connection box for my in-dash screen. All of this is hooked up, and it doesn't work when I try to set my aux input to the DVD changer to play a DVD. If the changer is getting power, and is hooked to the connection box for the monitor, it should play, or at least put something up on the screen telling me that it is on.

SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if this matters, but the in-dash monitor I have is the sony xav-7w, and the changer that I have is the sony dvx-100. They are supposed to work together seemlessly. HELP!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
