Thumbs up +1 for audio integrations!!!!!!!!!

Hey all. Just wanted to show you guys my new trunk stereo setup in my 05 STi. I came across a company named audio integrations ( Audio Integrations ). They have a perfect fit sub enclosure built specifically for the WRX and the WRX STi. I believe it fits wagons too. I ordered this enclosure kind of skeptical on how easy they said it was to install. Well they are not kidding. It is literally one bolt that holds it in, and it goes through a factory hole already in your trunk!!!! No drilling. Very easy to install. About 20 minutes to be exact. Here are a few pics of my setup. I also added a few JL audio amps to the mix. I used to have a MTX 5 channel amp but i upgraded and went with a JL Audio E Series 4 channel amp that has amazing clarity. And for the sub I installed a JL Audio Mono Subwoofer Amp right next to the 4 channel. This setup sounds amazing!!!!!!!!

If you guys want an easy and slick way to add a sub to your rex i suggest you check these guys out. I am very happy with their products. Just thought i would share it with everybody. Thanks.

Also notice the STi blue trim ring around the sub. They sell those too!!!!! Matches the interior color perfectly!!!!! And they sell the subs with the enclosure also as an option. Diamond Audio subs. Later all!!!

Eli

It looks good. You should ditch the blue ring though. I like it though, If it wasn't so pricey I would get one, it looks really clean.

It wasn't free. Plus I like it because it matches the STi interior perfectly. But thanks for the suggestion. Thanks it did come out pretty clean.

The most important thing is how good it sounds. And it sounds amazing.

No prob man your welcome. When i buy a new product and it is everything i hoped it to be i just have to share it. It is a great product, very well built. It literally fits perfectly in every groove and contour of your trunk. You will not be disappointed.

How easy is it to quickly remove the one bolt securing the sub to get to the jack? or did you relocate the jack to the spare tire area? At least that's where my tire jack is located on my 2002. not sure on the newer WRX/Sti. Your set up looks real clean.

Thanks man. Yeah I ended up relocating my jack to my spare tire area for easy removal. You could do it the other way but i would not recommend it.. It is really easy to remove the bolt. You can reach under the bumper with your left hand and reach inside the box with your right hand. Simple. But you do have to remove the speaker to get to the bolt inside the box. So that could get pretty involved.

Yeah its sounds really solid ......

I dont have pics but it attaches to the cross frame behind the seats. MDF board. Then amps are mounted to the board. Hope that helps.

some updated pics after my rear strut bar installed...........

heres a pic of my audio integration setup, it was my first mod after getting the car up to the northwest. It's a lot like yours scarface, I managed to get one of their prototype amp racks, and had them do a bit of custom work to the trim on it since my amps are so big. It's nice not living too far from there, otherwise I would've had to get different amps. But I agree with the +++111 you left

Hey ridered! Thats a very clean setup. I like the 3d effect of the amp rack. Definately +'s for Audio integrations. Awesome bro! BTW what kind of amp is that? Also do you still have access to your spare even with the amp rack sitting out past the strut towers? Just wandering. Later.

Those are phoenix gold xenon amps, and I can still get to the spare ok, obvioulsly a bit harder than before, but way easier than I could when I had my old box in there

awesome dude! the other big boxes are a joke compared to this design hands down. It makes the most trunk space with a great sounding box. Cheers
