REMINDER! Autocross this Sunday at Hollywood Park!
Let's have another HUGE Suby turn out! The evo's are starting to show up in bigger numbers now...(Lancer's anyway).
Hey, you gotta represent, know wut I'm sayin boy?
Here are the details:
When January 26th, 2003 (1st car out at 8:30 AM)
Where Hollywood Park
Entry $30 without either SCCA membership or CSCC points card
$20 SCCA members or CSCC points card holders
$10 Speed Freakz members
Course Walking 7:30 to 8:20 AM & at Lunch
Tech- Registration 7:30 AM to 1 PM (go to Tech first)
Safety Helmets must be at least SNELL 1990
Some loaner helmets available
No Alchohol or any other intoxicants may be used by anyone at the event
Note: there will be TWO grids for this event.
The purpose of two grids will allow faster changeovers.
Workers and cars will be called to report in approximately 20 minutes before the end of the group running.
Failure to report on time will result in a DSQ
SCHEDULE
Group 1: CS, ES, ASP, ESP, ESP (You work Group 3)
Group 2: FS, SM1, SM2, DSP (You work group 4)
Group 3: SS, AS, GS, DS (You work group 1)
Group 4: STX, SK1, SK2 (You work group 2)
**LUNCH BREAK**
Group 5: KARTS, PREP/MADS, HIST (You work group 7)
Group 6: PAX, CSM, FSP (You work group 8)
Group 7: STS (You work group 5)
Group 8: CSP, HS, BS, TRUCK (You work group 6)
[b]DS is typically WRX Stock, STX is typically WRX with some mods, STS is typically the Impreza RS class. Consult the Solo2 Rulebook if you don't know which class to run in, or just ask someone at the event.
ALL TIME ONLY RUNS WILL BE RUN AT THE END OF THE DAY, TIME PERMITTING!
No Late or early runs permitted
KARTS and F125 always run in group 4 - if permitted to run
(KARTS work as assigned - see Registration)
Novice class drivers will run with the class that their car would run normally run
Novice instruction available; ask any Solo2 official or at Registration

Closed exhaust. The 95 dBA noise standard may be monitored

The turnout was huge, 348 drivers in all. It went until 7pm (night racing, yeah!).
Our Subaru club picked up 4 new drivers. I believe the next event at Hollywood Park is open to CSCC club members only, but that could change. Details at solo2.com
