Pikes Peak

Who is going to Pikes Peak this year? June 23rd to the big day on the 28th...come early to acclamate, 14,000 ft is higher than most of us are ready for. The best viewing area is at 13,900, but even the start is at 9,500...pace makers are not advised

Hellooooooooo, seems I am talking to myself but, if your are interested, those forty people that looked but did not post, there is a "sticky" posted in the Rocky Mountain Forum with an invite to a special dinner party and "much more" but you must RSVP to get in...I promise it will be worth your time if you can go to PPIHC.

Can anyone enter the race or just sponsored teams? Doesn't Toyota usually win?

Toyota only has the record now...last year they did not compete but no one beat their (millen/toyota) record from before.

I guess you didn't hear about the fiasco with 80 cars being towed leaving a bunch of people stranded out in the rain.

So yes, some people may be wary of coming that far to an event where they might be stranded in a different state, etc.........
