Hey SCIC gang! I'm gonna be coming down to So Cal on business starting Monday, 11/5. I'll be Thousand Oaks until 11/16. Anything recommendations for fun stuff to do? Any meets? I'd like to meet up with you guys on the weekend if possible. Thanks in advance! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! 
P.S. Anyone ever been to Karaoke Yuu Yuu on Sawtelle Blvd.? Is it worth going there, b/c I'm in the mood (always) for JDM karaoke goodness

Weds huh? Hmm, sounds good but... I'm out in the boonies (Thousand Oaks). I can probably get my hands on a company car but will traffic kill me? I'm assuming the meet's gonna be at Shinsengumi?
Also, can anyone suggest any sort of super Los Angeles-y omiyage (souvenirs) for a Japanese lady friend?

My gf wants to take her hairstylist out on Saturday night out near LA, she's JDM and if you're down with karaoke, I'm sure we can get something together.
