any one know of that subaru model that had the spare tire on top of the motor. I have a bet with a buddy of mine he said they never did that. He claims to be the Subaru Guru.... any one out there with pictures or year/model

it's basically any soob with the EA engine series, Specifically the Hatchbacks, sedans and wagons. BRATS, XTs etc.

ahh.. the EA81 lovely little engine. No timing belts to worry about, tough as nails.
Only problem is the handling the crazy HP. We're talking a whole 73 HP... :)

nah... it's mostly a FWD car. Pull the 4wd level and the rear wheels engage.
This is before Soobs came w/AWD.

There is one dude in Australia that did a WRX swap to his BRAT. Now that's power.

If that meet at Starbucks is tonight, I'll bring the BRAT, it ain't pretty cause it's still a work in progress.
