bump my super geek thread..
i wonder if i should spend more money buying ram for my old computer and just start with new one... decisions decisions.
I don't trust **** at frys.. they are all refurb crap..
in the pass all the rams i bought from frys all have defects causing blue screen of death..
I've return at least 5 sets fo rams back to them before.
Can anyone get WD External HDD for good deal?
i'm looking for 250GB or 300GB external..
USB2.0 or network connection prefer.

the only thing that sucks about retail external enclosures is 1 year warranty, if you buy the parts separately you can usually get at least 3 year warranty on hard drive. You should be able to buy a 250gb ide drive for around 90 bucks, plus decent enclosure for about 35 more.

"Of course, as he and others have pointed out, Mac users will not only be able to run Microsoft Windows, they'll also get a chance to experience Microsoft's notorious "blue screen of death." Some users have already started to document the experience on the photo-sharing site Flickr."

whatever.. i'll never change to apple.. cuz i can get more "free" stuff for PC than you can for Mac..
since i built my computer i know what stuff is it in..
i never experience blue screen of death..
the only time is back in the days when i bought cheap rams from frys..
due to memory flood or memory overload.. the computer just bascially crash.
thats why i learn never to buy cheap stuff..
you get for what you pay.
