I see another fun car from the past - Datsun 1600 or 2000. Had a friend with one and we'd blast thru the date groves in the Palm Springs area. It was before the Z by years and like it and the 1st RX7 - lots of fun for the money

Man, I wish I could time my vacation for this event. I used to be a "Toyboy" in the early eighties. I had a '73 Celica coupe with a transplanted 2TG w/dual side-drafts...I miss that car (it was stolen and stripped for parts). Whoever goes, please post up some pics.
