Is the perrin short ram intake any good?
I know that the factory setup is real good with the silencer removed and all but I jus like the sound of an open intake and was wondering if the perrin short ram would give that to me as well as a lil gain?

I've had the Perrin short ram for about 1500 miles now. It's a great piece. Very easy install and no CEL issues whatsoever. The sound is probably the best part about this intake. Gives a nice growly howl and you can fully hear the turbo spool and bov.
As far as actual performance gains go, I have no hard numbers to post. I'd love to see a real-life dyno. **Anyone?** If there are any gains I would say they are probably minimal. But damn, the car sure sounds faster.
