Smile Cobb Stg 2: Stock Catback vs Borla Hush/Stromung

WRX-warriors:

Looking for experiences/feedback on stealthy catbacks (Stromung or Borla Hush).
I have been running Cobb Stage 2 (catless uppipe and downpipe; catted midpipe)
but with the stock catback for a while now.

Thinking of getting the "Borla Hushback" or "Stromung Aftermarket Catback".
But I had heard that with a free-flowing exhaust (catless), the noise level goes up significantly w/ the enhanced catback, plus some possible loss of backpressure (torque) if going stock-->aftermarket.

Appreciate feedback on the following esp if you did the catback after catless UP+DP:
i) horsepower gains, mid/top-range only(?), 0-60 or 1/4-mile times? any noticeable spool-response time improvement?
ii) torque impression (loss?)
iii) sound increase level (can I still hear my Britney Spear's greatest hitz or do I have to crank up the stereo considerably?)

Also, if you have a used decent one for sale in SF Bay Area, please give me a buzz. Thanks!!

i have the helix up dp and borla cat back setup, i definately noticed an considerable increase in power and torque after the borla was installed. (up and dp went on first), iono maybe it was just the sound, the sound is louder than stock but not as loud as some of the others like blitz nur spec or helix catback. and horsepower wise, i've gained around 30 whp with this setup, have yet to dyno it tho >< the borla hush is really quiet i think and i've heard good comments on stromungs, buh they were too expansive for me so hehe

I had my helix down/up pipe and stromung catback installed at the same time, very noticeble gain of power, then I got my accessport with this as well I noticed a big increase in power., so you will definetly notice an increase in power when you get a catback. Stromung is pretty quite, very nice deep rumble, when you press on it above 3500 it opens up with a sweet sound to your ears.

except it has a 5" tip which is not very "sleeperish". Lots of people have the Borla hush. thats what i would do it you want something a little louder then stock but not too loud.

Stromung twin tip

I have a gutted OEM up-pipe, Daddys metal substrate catted twin DP, 3CE third cat eliminator to a Stromung 2-1/2 " cat-back. Looks stock, sounds great, better than Bosal. Even my wife hasn't complained. I am running Cobb stg.2
People say that it sounds like a Ducati at low rpm's. I love it! It will pass visual.
