Hi,
Where is the BOV on a stock 2002 WRX? Is it the gold cylinder on top of the turbo? Also, if that is the valve does the rod in back of it actually move...how does it work?

The goldish circle thing on the front of the intercooler with black hose coming out the right side.

The stock bypass valve is bolted on the front of the intercooler, that gold cylinder thing is the Wastegate actuator, that rod is connected to a spring which controls the wastegate.
