Greddy Type R Bolw off/ Bypass Valve

Hey everybody, last week i bought and installed a Greddy Type R BOV, on my 2002 WRX, with the Greddy WRX Kit. Ive been looking around, and some people have it running 100% atmospheric, im am curious of what you do with the pipe that is suppossed to recirculate the air back into the system...seems to me that if i left it open, engine air could get in, and bypass the filter (bad).? Also just anking others with the same valve about how far in they have the screw tightening the spring...thanks everybody.
By the way, im very happy with it the way it is now, just really quiet, and also, i know that it doesnt do anything for preformance, so dont be hatin!

you shold have a plug to plug the recirc hose. i know the hks and sard bov's come with them, but i dont know about greddy.

If it is an adjustable bypass valve, it won't come with a plug because it's supposed to be plumbed back in like the stock valve. If it's not adjustable, then it would come with the plug for the recirc hose.

greddy bov

the greddy bov comes with a recirc. pipe because it is recomended that it be routed back into the intake pipe. You can plug the stock hose and leave the valve 100% open, but recirculating is the better way to install it.
