What is infinite scroll? How do we disable it?

 

Why was infinite scroll added?

 

Oh god. This kills the i-club. What is wrong with yall. This is the stupidest feature I have seen yet. Why would anyone want to infinitely scroll through posts from 2002? Please disable this asap. I can no longer brows on mobile as this will just kill data.

 

Just tried on PC and this whole site is ****ed. Please put i-club back to the way it was like 6 years ago. The more Internet Brand "improves" the site, the more people stop using it. LEAVE IT ALONE!

Infinite scroll allows a member to scroll through threads without stopping at the end of page 1, then select 2 etc etc. The feature is important for sites that have many multiple page threads. Can you post a screen shot of what you are describing? Thank you.

You reach the end of the thread you are viewing and it loads a string of "related" posts from 2008.

How can we disable infinite scrolling?

Go to your user control panel 'Edit Options'. You can disable both Infinite Scroll and Related Threads. Now, relax have a beverage and watch football.
